The Optimal Riversol Routine

Riversol Routine

We often get the question of what order to use our products in, how often, and how much to use, so today we're going to go over our full skincare routines and answer any questions you may have about it.

Morning Skincare Routine:

Step 1: Cleanse (Gel or Cream)
Dampen face with warm, tepid water. Pour a dime amount into wet palm of hand and apply on the face. Massage all over skin in circular motions, including neck, eyebrows and closed eyes. Rinse away with clean warm water. Use cool water if skin is irritated because of warmer temperatures.

For best results, use twice a day, morning and night.

Step 2: Corrector V2
Spread one pump of The Corrector V2 over the entire face and neck or affected areas once or twice per day.

We recommend taking it slow. Apply The Corrector V2 once per day during the introductory phase and working up to twice per day after 2-weeks or so.

Step 3: Serum
Use 1-2 pumps in palm of hands and spread evenly on entire face, neck, décolleté and backs of hands. Let it absorb completely.

If you have sensitive skin, it is important to gradually introduce this product into your routine. Start with a very small amount once daily, gradually increasing the amount to two pumps, twice daily, morning and night.

Step 4: Comprehensive Acne Treatment
Dispense 2 pumps from each side. Thoroughly blend the product in your hand  and cover the affected area 1-3 times daily.
For new users: Apply to a small area once daily for 3 days to test for sensitivity.

Step 5: Eye repair treatment
Use a pea-sized amount and dab along the orbital bone and below the brow. Do not apply on the eyelid or close to actual eye. Make sure the eye cream is fully absorbed before applying makeup to the area. Use once or twice a day.

Step 6: Moisturizer
Use a pea-sized amount. Apply over entire face, except eye area. Use twice a day, morning and night.

Step 7: SPF
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every 2 hours. User a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.

Evening Skincare Routine:

Step 1: Remove Makeup
Apply Micellar Water onto areas with make-up using a cotton pad or the Microfibre Makeup Removal Facecloth. Gently wipe without scrubbing. Use before cleansing. External use only.

Step 2: Cleanser
Dampen face with warm, tepid water. Pour a dime amount into wet palm of hand and apply on the face. Massage all over skin in circular motions, including neck, eyebrows and closed eyes. Rinse away with clean warm water. Use cool water if skin is irritated because of warmer temperatures. If you wear makeup, a second cleanse may ensure it is completely clear of debris.

For best results, use twice a day, morning and night.

Step 3: Corrector V2
Spread one pump of The Corrector V2 over the entire face and neck or affected areas once or twice per day.

We recommend taking it slow. Apply The Corrector V2 once per day during the introductory phase and working up to twice per day after 2-weeks or so.

Step 4: Serum
Use 1-2 pumps in palm of hands and spread evenly on entire face, neck, décolleté and backs of hands. Let it absorb completely.

If you have sensitive skin, it is important to gradually introduce this product into your routine. Start with a very small amount once daily, gradually increasing the amount to two pumps, twice daily, morning and night.

Step 5: Comprehensive Acne Treatment
Dispense 2 pumps from each side. Thoroughly blend the product in your hand  and cover the affected area 1-3 times daily.

Step 6: Eye Repair Treatment
Use a small amount and dab along the orbital bone and below the brow. Do not apply on the eyelid or close to actual eye. Make sure the eye cream is fully absorbed before applying makeup to the area.

Step 7: Retinol Treatment
Allow any product from previous steps to dry completely before applying the Retinol Treatment. Apply a pea-size amount of retinol to your face with your fingertips in upward and outward motions, starting at your chin.

Step 8: Moisturizer
Use a pea-sized amount. Apply over entire face, except eye area. Use twice a day, morning and night. Skip this moisturizer step if you are using the Redness Calming Mask overnight on this evening.

Weekly masks:

Hydrating Antioxidant Mask:
Apply a generous amount of product 1-2 times per week to face, neck, chest and back of hands. Remove after 15-20 minutes with a warm, soft cloth. Follow with your choice of a Riversol serum and moisturizer.

Due to the high level of antioxidants in this mask, some users experience a gentle tingling upon application. This sensation subsides after the first few minutes.

Redness Calming Mask:
Apply a generous amount of product 3 times per week to face. Remove after at least thirty minutes and rinse off with cool water. For best results leave on overnight and rinse off with cool water in the morning.

If applying overnight, skip the moisturizer step and apply the mask as the last step in your routine. If applying for 30 minutes, apply the mask after cleansing and before serum application.

Exfoliating Glycolic Peel:
Apply 4-5 pumps of product once every two weeks on freshly cleansed skin. Areas to apply include the face, neck, chest and the back of hands. Remove after 15 minutes with a warm, soft cloth. Cleanse the skin once again to remove all residue. Follow with your choice of Riversol serum and moisturizer.

As with all AHA products, it is recommended that prior to sun exposure users cover areas where AHAs have been applied with sunscreen.
